Prof. Rose Mary Amenga-Etego – Head, Department for the Study of Religions, University of Ghana

Prof. Amenga-Etego is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department for the Study of Religions, at the University of Ghana, Accra. In 1998, she graduated from the University of Ghana with a Master of Philosophy in Religions. Prof. Amenga- Etego obtained her PhD in Religious Studies from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2008. In 2011, she authored “Mending the Broken Pieces: Indigenous Religion and Sustainable Rural Development in Northern Ghana”, Trenton: African World Press. She has also written several book chapters and peer- reviewed journal articles.
