TSI signs MOU with MFNN at the Presidency
The Sanneh Institute and Multi-Faith Neighbors Network, on the 7th of June 2022, signed a Framework Agreement outlining a partnership that aims at promoting multi-faith relations and engagement as well as religious literacy in West Africa.
The Vice President of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia presided over the signing of the MOU by Dr. John Azumah, Executive Director of TSI, Pastor Bob Roberts and Amb. Rabbi David Saperstein, co-founders of Multi-Faith Neighbors Network. Also present were Dr. Chris Seiple, President Emeritus of the Institute for Global Engagement and Principal Advisor to the Templeton Religion Trust, Dr. Mohamed Elsanousi, Executive Director of the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers, Dr. Emmanuel Bellon, a Board Member of TSI, Micah Fries, Director of Programs at Multi-Faith Neighbors Network, Khaled Aldagestani and Naif Alshammari of the Muslim World League.
This Framework Agreement aligns with TSI’s Vision Statement which seeks to harness the roles of religious leaders for peace-building and to collaborate around issues of mutual interest.
